"Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them..." - Romans 12.6

Here are some of the various ministries at Calvary Selah; if you are interested in participating or serving in any of these, contact the church office at (509) 697-8172.

Mens Breakfast

This is a time for men to “chow down.” We provide eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, hash browns, and other breakfast goodies. After we eat, we read through a chapter in the book of Mark (currently in chapter 6).

We  meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 8 am at the church.  Bring your bible and a healthy appetite.

Ladies Luncheon

The Ladies meet on the 3rd Sunday of every month, after church at 1 pm to enjoy a meal together.

Youth Group

During our Sunday evening service from 6 – 7:30 pm,  we have a youth group that ranges from 6th – 12th graders. They join the adults for a time of worship, and then break away for some games, discussion and teaching (currently going over the ‘Fruits of the Spirit’).

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.” -I Timothy 4.12-16

Ladies Bible Study

The Ladies get together on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at the church from 11 – 12 pm for a Bible Study on the “Infinite God.”

"Wise Guys"

We got a few older gentlemen who like to “chew the cud”, drink coffee, talk about the weather and dish out “wisdom” in large doses.

They meet on Saturday mornings at 7 am at Sundance Espresso.

Berean Bible Study

We meet Friday mornings at 10 am at the church for a verse by verse study through a book in the Bible; we are currently reading a Proverb a week. Bring your bible and join us.

“These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so” -Acts 17.11

Potluck Sunday

Join us after church on the last Sunday of the month, as we have a potluck-style meal after church (around 12 pm); bring a dish to share and come enjoy some fellowship.
